What’s New: Android users have a new Google update to get excited about. It’s simpler than ever to find events near you. Searching for a pop-up restaurant? Ready to laugh at a comedy show?

Google delivers the search results as suggestions with an added bonus. You’ll see event details, ticket buying options, and more. So you could buy tickets to the comedy show, and make a reservation, right from search.

Of course, Google pays attention to your searches. So next time you log in, you’ll see personalized suggestions for what to do, based on previous event searches and purchases. [Just tap the “For You” button.] The update is rolling out now: it’ll be on your Android soon if it isn’t already.

What We Think: This sounds like a fun update for users, and a way to further streamline e-commerce for businesses with mobile-first content.
